AIA Architecture News
Each project in the "Top Ten Green Projects" awards by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on the Environment (COTE) for 2008 was evaluated on ten measures, documented extensively on the COTE Web site. These include design innovation, community context and land use, longevity, bioclimatic design, water and energy conservation, materials, and indoor environment.

The Artwork of Rex Ray
Recently I came across the artwork of Rex Ray - a graphic designer and artist based in San Fransisco, CA who creates the most lovely pieces using collage on wood with resin. I have to admit that I was never a big fan of collage, but his pieces are so modern and fun and remind me very much of the work by artist Jenn Ski, whom I also adore.(Images via RexRay.com)

I am a new member who recently joined and saw your website. It is awesome. I live across from Oak Park and want to introduce myself. I Just want to say hi and meet new friends and find mentors and guidance. I love interior design and am attending Triton College on a part time basis. I'll be starting my next class June 10.

BIDS member partnerships will also be featured on the Main site as we prepare our marketing for the Essence article. We're definitely highlighting our client referral service and available designers.
Its inspiring to other members as we've all struggled to go it alone. Its time for us to show students that the best way to grow a business is to spread and share the wealth!
